Boise said that both Congress and the Fla. Legislators failed Terri. They had the opportunity to make a law that guaranteed Terri's parents the right to give her water and food until the matter was resolved in the courts but the verbiage just wasn't there and now we have the Schindlers scrambling to fight it out in court where they will not succeed.

The verbiage wasn't there because Democrats in the Senate refused to approve the bill unless leaders removed the specific verbiage that had been referenced in the House bill. [BTW: I have ZERO respect for anything that Boise has to say; he proved himself a man of VERY questionable integrity during the Florida 2000 fiasco!]
