While reading the latest updates on the case, I remembered that there are still these congressional hearings to be done next week.
If Terri was still alive Monday, could she be taken out of Judge Greer's jurisdiction by federal authorities to comply with the congressional order to testify? Maybe some of the more astute legal minds here could take this question on

Could you define what "quality of life" is?
In other words, what standard determines whether human life meets the critieria for continued existence, and who determines that standard?
Does that count anymore?
Lets put the shoe on the other foot. Let's say you come from a particular ethnice heritage that is determined by a ruling classes standard to not meet their criteria for quality of life. Would you object if they passed a death sentence on you because you do not meet their criteria?

Congress has NO POWER that can not over ruled by the Judicial Branch, haven't you heard?
Healthy bodies are not starved to death "on a daily basis" in this country, not by legal means. What's so hard to understand the simple difference between terminal, end-of-life conditions and Terri Schiavo? Terri could likely have lived another 25 years simply by being fed. When you have a terminal illness or your body is shutting down from old age, no amount of food or water in the world is going to save you. This was not the case with Terri. I don't care how you want to spin this or what law you want to cite. She had healthy, working organs and breathed on her own, and now she is being starved until she dies. Can you with an honest conscience say otherwise?
