CAN you expain what you mean by a one rein stop? Pulling him in a circle?

Is this going to be his permenant home, or is he going to go back to the stable?

That is what they call it at the vocational school equine program. A young student kept her yearling here, and that is what she said they taught her. Basically that is what she did, pulled her around in circles. Old method, different terminology. That would be scary on a hill.

I was thinking about you the other day, Randi. Sorry to hear about your finger. Try to make him go as slow as possible down hills. Even if you have to turn him sideways. Keep one rein a little snugger, if you have to pull his head around. Be careful and have fun!
