Well, going down a hill makes it hard to stop a horse if they've got momentum going. Do you ride with a single rein or double reins? A single rein might be easier to handle. I don't have any adivce really at all, it sound like generally he's a great guy. Next timne you go down a hill, stop him completely before you start down, then put him forward at a walk diagonally down the hill instead of straight down and see how that does.

Hair, chances of my DIL parting with this baby in the near future are nil. Becky, I think she will grey out like her mother - it would be nice if she didn't, but the dam comes from a long line of grey arabs. Squarebarb, I really like your mare - bring her to us and Sonny will get her bred, he has a way with mares it appears.

If she's gonna grey I bet you see it as soon as she first starts to shed around the eyes.... I have more experience with Arabs turnin' grey than roans. ;~D

I'll take her either way ;~D
