Hey, do you know, can you get posion ivy this time of year? I've got patches of a rash here and there and don't know what it is. I thought posion ivy was in late summer and fall.

Heck yes! The plant doesn't even have to have leaves on it for you to get it if you're allergic to it, so you can even get it in the dead of winter. All it takes is getting some of the sap on you. You can even get it from touching the the roots or from the smoke if you're burning it.

This poor lady that worked with me broke out in the most awful rash one day and it turned out that she was pulling some roots the day before that were sticking up out of the ground by her swing, never dreaming that they were poison ivy roots. She apparently then rubbed her face and eyes. It was not a pretty sight.
