The World show, might be a tough place to start:). I was just thinking of something easy and fun where she could get more comfortable with her new saddle. Of course hours of trail riding will do that. But I was thinking being around other kids in western saddles would help get the scowl off her face:). Kids are so funny about that sort of thing. I've seen kids use to western saddle's scorn Engish and vice versa. I think it's good for them to be comfortable in both. JMO, tho:)

You're right, if she's around kids in western saddles she would probably get the scowl off her face. She actually likes the western riding people better than the english crowd. We've been to both types of professional barns and the hunter/jumper and dressage people are unbelievably stuck up. The western riders don't take themselves quite so seriously.
