I don't know what you consider inexpensive, but the saddle shop that made mine, makes a barrel saddle that runs around the $1000 mark. They're made with very high quailty Herman Oaks leather, and would last a life time. I DON'T consider that inexpensive:) but for the quality they are good saddles.

Check this place out, www.teskeys.com. It's a new huge saddle and tack shop in Weatherford, Texas, about an hour or so away from me. I'd like to drive over there today but I have a lame donkey that I'm keeping an eye on. I may have to have the vet out today.
