No - we weren't doing anything nearly that exciting... merely cleaning stalls and putting horses to bed. Though we did walk out and stand in it for awhile in the rain ;~D
We'll pack it up in the morning.
I'm tired but excited, making lists in my head of things to not forget. Like a padlock for the tack room door. And water... and some fly spray and the brushes and a first aid kit.... and... ;~D
Oh,,, well I slept alot this afternoon. Had a low sugar episoide. But now I'm wide awake.
I'm loading a few pictures I took today down at the kids place. I was going to take alot more, and the batteries went down. But I got a few of the veiw across thier pasture from Charlies yard. Charlie and Jenny live on a 40 acre area, one on one side one the other. So thier horses share pasture. I got Jenny's two in one picture. Kristy's horse were gone with her. She always rides on Fri. while I have JP.

I was back rereading last nights post, and thought of a funny story I have to tell on myself.
I was going to CTR in Ark by myself. I was excited and nervous and kept going over everthing to make sure I hadn't forgot anything. When it came time to leave, Mack and Charlie were here to wave goodbye, as I started to drive out the drive way, Charlie hollered at me to stop. He walked up to my window and said "Mom, don't you think you should load the horse:)"
One other time I got to the next town over and realized I'd left my food at home in the cooler on the floor of the kitchen:).
I actually have a check list now that I check after I've gotten in the truck to leave but haven' left yet. Last item on it is "horse":).
