Boy, they really do look a lot alike. I hate that about that white spot on Belle's withers. That pad must've really been rubbing bad to do that. I love the picture of Grizzly "Skiing". That dog must either have a death wish or your horses are just incredibly tolerant for not kicking him in the head. Goofy Dog! :o)

He's been kicked several times. In fact just after I snapped this picture, Dot kicked out hard with both feet. She didn't get him, I think he was between them. He let go after that.

Harley got him good the other day. You'd think he'd learn.

I'm not sure if Dot was playing with him or mad. He'd stand in front of her, on point, and she'd have her head down staring then all of sudden take off after him. He'd run around and get behind her. Went on for a long time. She never really had her ears pinned, so I don't know if it was play or not.

I don't think that pad was rubbing necessarily, or at least that is what I've been told. It was just that being neoprene it built heat up under it, that couldn't go anywhere so scalded her. When I pulled the pad off that day, it just took the hair and skin off with it. I was really upset. It was a new pad, that I'd paid $120 for. I was told it was the best you could buy...I never used it again, and won't use neoprene anything.
