I think horses being turned out is a must. I wish I could turn mine out more then I do. But if I turned them out 24/7 they would get NO grass. They are not ever "stalled" but kept in smaller runs when not out on what pasture I have. Usually about 1/2 the day they get to get out of their runs.
It will be easier when Belle goes back to her pasture.

Yeah - I spend half the year trying to rest the pasture so it doesn't get eaten down to dust. And of course, now, I worry that there's too much out there. Feast or famine, I tell ya.

Well, the horses are still in and banging. I'm gonna move them out to the ties and groom them so they are ready when the vet comes. I like them to be brushed and looking good for inspection. ;~D He's supposed to be here at 8:30
