Do you know, if she had an infection, would she get pregnant and stay pregnant for that long and then loose it?

Farah lost her foal the year before we put her on regumate. It was sometime during the last part of her pregnancy we think and we never did find evidence of it. She looks and acted pregnant right up until about 9+ months, then did not.

No, usually they don't get pregnant at all. At least that's how it was with my mares.
