LOL...I was like that with my mare. She was always perfect when I took her anywhere, or when we stayed here:)

I'm not so diligent anymore, but I did have to run to town to get some fly spray, he finally got my brand in. I bought some shampoo that is suppose to really make palaminos look better, then just using regular shampoo. It will probably be tomorrow before I can bathe him, unless Tina isn't able to ride tonight.

Have you ever used the color enhancing shampoos? Do they really work or do you just think they work because you paid so much for it? :)

Regarding the color enhancing shampoos - some of them work great. All our horses get bathed with them and/or whitening shampoos before shows. My DIL's mare's tail looks like silver threads when she's done.
