If you're banned, you're banned. If they catch you trying to come back under another name they'll ban you again even if you haven't done anything yet. Repeat offenders are watched for.
Obviously, there are lots of couples and families who post from the same IP address, with either the same name, like Becky and Mack, or different names, like you guys and like ecurbh and me.
I am not sure how sticky it gets if one of an actively FReeping household gets banned but not the other. I bet it's come up!
I've heard of people being banned then allowed back. Somebody that Cav used to talk to all the time did, I think. I can't remember her screen name, but her real name was Carolyn. You know who I'm talking about?
Understood, maybe he was on a thread and really upset some people. Who knows......Maybe he's just suspended, guess we'll find out if he posts again! : )
I am glad that they can ban someone who is very offensive though, I mean, sometimes you can be having a serious debate about something worth while, and even though you may not agree with other opinions, you respect them...when along comes some jerk, who mouths off and offends everyone.
I am sure that every site like this gets them though....
