Here's something I've thought about here if someone were set up to seriously work our pony. I don't want to put in anything too expensive that's permanent, because we are just renting, and I can't afford nice panels either.
Wood round posts in a circle, and this construction netting stuff:
That stuff is really strong, yet easy to put up. It's only about 3 feet tall, but you could put it two-rows high.
They even make it in black, which would be more attractive if 'better farms and gardens' might come to photograph the place.
What I like about it is it's strong and not very expensive, very visible, and yet it would be forgiving, if, heaven forbid, someone gets catapulted into it. ('cept for the posts ;~D)
What a great idea! Put it up, when you need it, take it down when you dont!
: D
That's an idea - I've seen that stuff on road construction sites.... I'll have to check about the wooden posts... Do you think those posts you can stick into the ground with your foot would work? Or would you need to dig with post-hole digger and use larger wooden ones? Thanks again for the idea... we really need to isolate him from the other horses to make progress....
