Nasty cold weather has put a hurting on my phlox. Normally, they would be really filled out more. At least the tulips I planted last year came up. The plum tree is not as pretty either. That is all the mulching I did. I bought quite a few more shrubs and perennials last weekend to fill in the island bed. The Granddaughter has to get in the picture too.. ;') Winter coat and all.

Pretty! I've never had a lot of luck with that stuff, I see it cascading across other people's yards, but I plant it and it goes nowhere!
