Rusty did fine, we did 1/2-3/4 mile trot and he never locked up, altho I did feel a hitch once or twice. Which caused me to make a decision. There are just too many issues with Rusty for me to be able to ride him with out worrying about every little ole thing and to spend the money on that clinic, and get him down there and he
crash on me.
I want to take Harley to that CTR anyway, so I'm going to focus on him, work on barrels too and he's going to the clinic. The slight uncomfortableness I have with him is all in my own silly mind, the horse has never done anything at all crazy. He's just taller and is so easy to get him to go, and looks so athletic that I just think what he could do if he was a crazy:)
I do believe that if I got out there and started putting lots of miles on him, I would get over this, so that's the plan (for today anyway:).
I'll keep riding Rusty to keep him impoving shape wise, but I"m telling Mack I really want him to concentrate on getting him sold. As long as he is here I'll prefer him. I don't need two.

All the best, not matter what you decide! How would you market Rusty? As a trail horse, possibly barrels, or all-around horse open to new things.... what's his best niche market?
