Becky, I use probios* which is the brand name and it comes in a tube as a paste, like wormer does.

Each tube is 30g and the directions say for adult horses, 15g at foaling, or following therapy, or during training, transport or digestive upset. Repeat as needed.

It is a microbial product containing a source of live (viable) naturally occuring microorganisms.

Ok, thanks for "that" info too:) Tomorrow is feed store day, so I'm going to check to see if they have any. Might be easier then Maalox...he's getting to where he walks away from me when I get the halter:)...and I bought the mint flavored kind too.

I was reading the posts about the sick baby then duchess suggesting probios, which comes in paste like a wormer. I thought I was reading about a new horse med that you could also use on kids.
