LOL! They always look so funny with those on, but they're a lifesaver when the flys are so bad. What's really funny is when they roll in the mud with one on and fill up the mesh with mud and then they can't see. Goofy horses!

Yeah - they do get them dirty, and I'd think the dirt would just drop in their eyes, which would be particularly irritating. I hose them out frequently.

The off worked real well:), thanks for the suggestion.

I made it out on Harley for a little over and hour and it started raining. So I came back in and of course as soon as he was unsaddled the rain passed. But the humidity is really bad now. I have a feeling it may storm this afternoon.

I have turned the horses all out on their respective pasture areas, but they are all standing in their stalls because of the flies.

Question: I've been keeping Harley in the arena. He has no stall. I have another stall but he would have to be locked in it. Since the other horses don't seem to want to come out of theirs even tho they can, would you go ahead and lock one in a stall. I could rotate Harley and Rusty in the lock up one...
