To: estrogen

People I know burn or spray them, but I've seen them disrupted and die just from digging them up and spreading them around. In pastures, anthills are good... they eat fly larvae out of horse droppings. I have several around the pasture... and between frequent spreading of droppings, so that it dries before flies can lay eggs in it, and, I think, my anthills, I don't have very many flies at all :~D

I think they're fascinating... thousands of ants, who are all busy doing something all the time. They have little freeways they use, and it's all quite civilized :~D

I'll bet you don't have Fire Ants up there. They're EVERYWHERE down here. They can kill a foal or calf if they're born near one and don't get up fast enough. There have even been reports of them invading a Nursing Home and attacking bed-ridden elderly people. I HATE Fire Ants!

My daughter took some really nice shots of Biscuit, with the company camera. Do you think you could post them if I emailed to you? She sent them by email to me, and I can't get them loaded on work's pc.
