I hope the combination of things you've been working on do help when he goes back out on trail.
Tomorrow I plan on taking him out for 15-20 minutes after the 15 minutes of cavaletti work. I "think" just after the cavaletti's his muscle that is weak would tighten up??? so that would be best to do first?? then go out on trial to further strengthen it. There will only be one hill where I intend on going. It's medium long/steep, but smooth ground.
