I'm trying to talk my 3 sons into going in with us for a larger piece of property and setting up a "compound":') My husband keeps giving me these "are you crazy" looks but land is an investment and if someone there they can watch the animals if we are out of town.

That would be a great idea. A lot of people used to do that, we've just gotten away from it now in the modern world. Bob and I are talking to my son and daughter-in-law about them moving out here with us - just in the talking stages right now though.

There's a compound on my street. The land is huge and they've got at least three or four small cabins on there, and I think a barn. I don't know if I could live with family that close, we'd probably kill eachother. ;-)
