And I did get to ride! Twice in fact. First time on a not too nice trail, on a horse they said was gaited...HA!
Second time we went into the National Forest. It was beautiful crossing streams, seeing turkeys. My 16 hand Appaloosa gelding "Cody"..so slow, we got way behind, and the trail boss yelled at me. I told her when we got back, that she didn't have to worry...lol
BTW Cowboy, I hated Gatlinburg...way too congested. Never thought at this time of year it would be. But, I sure did love that casino in Cherokee. :')
Glad to hear you got to ride on your trip. Too bad about the supposed "gaited" horse. I would imagine that any gaited horse that ends up in a dude string didn't have a very good gait to begin with and then putting people who don't know how to ride on him all the time just makes it worse, and after a while it gets to be a habit that's very hard to break. But at least you got to see some beautiful scenery. The cabin looked awsome!
