That's nice Bob, but I'm FReeping at work. None of that stuff is necessary for me to do my job. I don't have internet at home either, so I can't do it from home. (...and I do not yet know how to use any of that stuff. Just darn!)

Keep your eyes open for used computer equipment. It ges cheaper all the time.
You could easily set up a computer workstation at home for graphic artwork, then transfer the files, by floppy or memory media, and send them on their way when you get to work.
Or wait until you have something to send off, and set up a modem connection. It sounds like a large investment, but you can work up to it gradually.
One question you may wish to answer for yourself is whether you want to work in computer media or not. Some prefer the tactile feedback of charcoal sketching, or working in oils. If you choose to work on the computer, you could be honing your skills while waiting for the connection you need.
