I am not a radiologist but know enough to know the ventricles are huge. You see that when brain tissue is atrophied. You see it in old people and some others who have had brain disease. The good thing is you can function with not alot of brain.
We need a radiologist to tell us any more.

Very true and a good start. The enlarged spaces indicate a great deal of atrophy. That great, dark mass in the center is a large space where no tissue is present. The bright object is the thalmic stimulator implanted by the clinic in California.
