You should come to Ireland, I'm sure you'd both love it over here. We're about as easy-going a nation as they come. And yeah - it really is green. :-)
One word of warning if you do come. Ireland is an expensive enough place to visit. But well worth it! I say! :-)
Plan a trip and come. I promise you, you won't regret it.
I've never regretted any of my trips to the US - so I expect you to return the compliment ~hands on me hips~ *LOL* :-)
I can almost hear your accent :)
DH and I went to Ireland in October '93. Terrific trip! (Except for the fact that we both came down with the flu while in the air, and doubtless spread it all over Ireland! Sorry!)
Dublin was an interesting town though not a knockout (compared to say, Paris - sorry!) but the countryside -- could anything be more beautiful? We drove around the Dingle peninsula, Ring of Kerry, other rural areas -- just astoundingly gorgeous. And I had the best lamb I've ever eaten there! :)
LOL! I would LOVE to take a looooong tour of Ireland, England and Scotland. We are trying to save for a house, so it's not in the cards right now. :-( But mark my words- we are going to get there someday!!
