I agree with your hopes for the final four--Bo, Carrie, Scott, Jessica.
Nadia certainly has all the makings of an Idol, but she shot herself in the foot this week. I doubt that she'll be able to recover.
Lt. Dan has more act than talent. He'll be here a while (which will provide us with a lot of laughs), but I predict he'll be the gone by the end of April.
I hope Scott survives as long as possible. I'm under no delusion that he'll win and, to his credit, I don't think he is either. What he wants more than anything (I think) is to have a successful career after the show and the longer he stays in the competition the more likely that will happen.
BTW, I'm in chapter 3 of Ari's book. So far it's not a page-turner. But it's interesting how he describes the transition to life in the White House and the sudden attention he received from the media. I just wish he'd pick up the pace a little.
Talk to you later :) God bless.
Jonny
That was my problem with the book -- I guess what I meant by "dry." He never does pick up the pace, although the book is more interesting when he gets to 9/11 and its aftermath.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't "get" Jessica at all. As far as I'm concerned, she'll be gone before the final five are set. Bo and Carrie are the current favorites, I'd look for Anthony to join the top four if he can put it together at all. The fourth choice is up in the air. It should be Scott, but popularity counts more than voice a lot of the time, so Nadia or Anwar could join that group.
Of course, the competition is tight enough that anyone is capable of going after a bad week. Now that the two real misfits have been eliminated, the game is well and truly on.
