I'm back...

My son's concert was good. I'm caught the last few minutes of Idol so I'm going to catch up on the thread while I watch "House."

I'll watch my tape of Idol after house and vote after that.
Heck...we've got 4 hours!

As of now...I agree with Simon...
1) Best AI so far.
2) Best finalists - "American, that's for listening to me."

I don't care who wins. It would be nice to see a "rocker" win this, but I also think Carrie's great. It's a win-win for me.

Agreed, they both deserve it.

Welcome back. Hope all went well with your son's concert.

I agree with you. I'll be happy with whoever wins. Neither has an advantage over the other, so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

I think it's the best AI so far too.

Why?
Because most of the singers sang the notes of most songs instead of over-killing them with horrendous grace notes which kills the melody of most songs.

This year the singers (in the main) sang the songs.

BTW, I thought Vonzell was super last week. Very good musically.

BUT, I'm for BO! (He's got Phwoarrrrrrr factor! Hot!)

Welcome back Tony. We missed you tonight!

BTW, I love Diana DiGarmo's CD. That girl has a way of singing that tells a story with her songs. She has interesting and very skillful timing.

I also like the fact that the songs are age appropriate for her without being silly or too girly.

I love "EMOTIONAL", "THEN I WOKE UP", "GO ON AND CRY" and "DON'T CRY OUT LOUD", the best, but they are all good.

Like I said, she's got great timing.

Gillian Barre Syndrome on House tonight? I've seen that twice. It's scary.
