He's 14 1/2 and has some kidney trouble, which caused his blood pressure to rise, causing him to have a slight stroke in January. Since them we have been having some difficulty keeping his blood pressure and kidney levels down. Yesterday he started throwing up all over so we took him in and they are trying to regulate things again. I visited him tonight and he looks good. Hopefully will be home tomorrow. With his age we are buying time but we love him.

It is never easy. I went thru this almost 2 years ago with my 13 year old doggie. We decided to let him die with some dignity....and a few days of steaks & beer beforehand.
