--Carrie and Anthony curled together on a sofa in a backstage dressing room, singing softly to each other and then asking, "Was that off? Was I pitchy?" Then breaking into hysterical giggles. That is so cute. I just love this stuff.

Oh, and here's a ridiculous factoid about Carrie I just learned. She placed third in the 2004 Miss Northeastern University pageant in Tahlequah, OK. Those two girls must feel pretty good about themselves right about now, managing to defeat someone of her talent and beauty in a pageant.

Also from the same article...
Just spending two hours in a relaxed setting with the remaining Idols, you can see that where you find Bo, you'll most likely find Anthony, and where you find Anthony, you'll be sure to find Carrie.
So, basicly, Anthony and Carrie were literally inseparable during the time the two of them were on the show.

Carrie's mom apparently got upset when Anthony was voted off, based on this story from Entertainment Tonight. Who knows if it's because she saw Carrie cry or because she knows of the special relationship Carrie and Anthony have and was sad for Carrie or some other reason. It was just interesting that she didn't mention crying about anyone else getting voted off.
It is such a close call that Bo's mother NANCY DOWNES and grandmother MADGE SCHOFIELD and Carrie's mom CAROLE UNDERWOOD drop by the ET (Entertainment Tonight) set to encourage fans to make sure and vote. "I want them all to do well," Carole tells MARK STEINES. "If they hit a wrong note -- I can't sing, but I can hear it. When ANTHONY got voted off, I cried. It is such an emotional thing now."
