My favorite from last year was Jennifer Hudson. She had superior pipes. But she got voted off because she was slightly over-weight.
Latoya was my 2nd favorite.
Diana D was third.

I liked Jennifer, too. I'm not sure if she was voted off for her weight. I realize that Simon is tough on overweight people, but if I recall correctly, Jennifer had a cold early on in the season. It didn't affect her too much, but that might have been enough for some to vote her out.

Having said that, I have noticed that this year the contestants had better looking clothes all through the season.

You're kidding, right? All she could do was "belt", anything else was a compelte mess. Latyoya and Diana were easily the best two singers last year.
