It's very hard to take when someone so young dies, particularly without any warning. Yes, a person who goes out to mow the lawn for the upteenth time in his life, doesn't expect to keel over and die in the middle of such activity. Makes us all realize that life is transitory, and when it's your time...man, the Grim Reaper's comin' for ya.

Makes us all realize that life is transitory, and when it's your time...man, the Grim Reaper's comin' for ya. Isn't that the truth? A few years back we got a shocking call. My cousin and her family were out of state, some sort of sports finals in another state. Maybe soccer. Her husband coached the team. He's in his late 30's and up and keels over and dies there on the field in the middle of his son's game.
