I voted twice, for Bo and Nikko. I tried to vote for Anwar but his line kept ringing busy, so I got back on the Internet.

I heard this morning that something got screwed up last night and the have to redo a show tonight.
Something about giving out the wrong numbers.

My scorecard from last night (subject to change after tonight's farce, of course), and without reading the thread to be biased by y'all. In short, I though Carrie and Scott stood tall above the rest, #3 through #9 is a virtual toss-up, as they all came out strong, but had some issue or other. Constantine trails that pack, and Mikayla should be booed off the stage...
- Carrie -- Did a great job with the song, still made it her own style but kept the power from the original. A weak beginning was the only possible issue. Right now, I think she'll win the whole thing, but ask me again next week. ;)
- Scott -- If this were a competition on the radio, he'd win going away... stellar voice, but still looks a little creepy. I like the fact he's opening up a little more personality, if he keeps it up, he could be the dark horse this year.
- Bo -- Another great performance, and a nice risk, but the risk has its downside, which was to once again expose that he doesn't have a great singing voice. Can he continue to compensate for a lack of raw singing talent by top-notch stage presence?
- Anwar -- Two weeks in a row with vocal performances not up to expectations isn't a good sign. However, I did like the song selection and thought he looked good performing the song.
- Nikko -- Nicely done, especially compared to last week. The performance wasn't as over the top, but I would like to see him do something other than full-speed.
- Vonzell -- A bit rocky at times, but a good performance. I still expect better from her.
- Nadia -- It wasn't bad, but it pales in comparison to the original Cindi Lauper version. Love the look again this week, though... this girl has style!
- Anthony -- The dreaded Lindeyitis disease... it was eminently forgettable, despite being well performed. There's just something unconvincing about him when he does anything other than a ballad.
- Jessica -- Someone has helped her with makeup, as she now looks like someone arriving at a club instead of "last call... who am I going home with". She also sounds at least as good as Bonnie Tyler, though the arrangement was choppy. Despite covering it well, the mess-up with the lyrics is enough to drop her down pretty low on a night where most contestants did well.
- Constantine -- I'll disagree with Simon and say I liked the song choice and they way he adapted it. Of course, it might have helped if, say, at least 25% of it was in tune. And the carrying around the mike stand thing is getting old... at least Bo can pull it off.
- Mikayla -- If there's any justice, we'd time-warp back to last week, eliminate Mikayla then, and drop Lindsey this week... just to avoid having to listen to this. She is completely out of place and out of her league here.
