Sure I remember "In Living Color". I didn't know Paula did that choreography.

She also did all the choreography of the what was it.....Lakers cheerleaders? She was one of the cheerleaders and did the choreography I think.

Didn't she also choreograph Janet Jackson and several other pretty prominent pop stars?

Does that sound right to you?

I know she was one of the most sought after choreographers in her time.

I watched one of her videos the other night and it looked like a trashy Madonna video. You could have put Madonna's face on Paula and never known the difference.

It looked like an orgy. It was the "Cold Hearted" video.

Quite a difference between that one and "Opposites Attract" (the one with the cartoon cat)

I liked Cold Hearted Snake - it was open homage to the choreography of Bob Fosse, who had his own particular genius.

In a previous life, I danced quite a lot, including teaching ballroom, and tap, jazz and show in the past before that. Paula's a brilliant tap dancer, and an extremely talented and creative choreographer. I loved her video with the animated cat (Opposites Attract), a tip of her hat to Gene Kelly dancing with Tom the Cat. And the choreography in Cold Hearted Snake was extremely difficult to perform. She's good.
