I think Nadia is toast, bye bye for her. AI just doesn't want back to back black female winners...she and Fantasia would be competing for the same market. Even tipsy Paula would only muster a back handed compliment for Nadia. "you look really good but..." is about as nasty as Paula gets, and Nadia got that from Paula tonight.
Simon seemed reconciled tonight, begrudgingly, that the little white Russian boy could sing after all.
I just don't get the appeal of Bo Bice, except he's got a great show biz name. I love the milk carton of Justin....and Constantine's well-practiced charm reminds me of him. Seems to me as if all 3 judges want to steer the voting toward Constantinee, like they want a guy to win, and he's it.

Anwar seems very nice, he can sing, but YIKES..Tonight Anwar not only sang another girlie song...he had cleavage!
Carrie should be a shoo in, she can sing like a bird, she's a natural, and I'm rooting for her.

As for his singing, I've heard better versions of 'Freebird' from bar bands.

That reminds me of something I heard. (I forget where)
I heard that Bo will actually turn 29 before the competition ends and the judges didn't like knowing that they made a mistake because the applications only referred to "age" at the time of the auditions.
That's why they'd prefer to have Lt. Dan beat him and have become tougher on Bo and softer on Constant-pain.
They also think that once Bo is gone, the rocker vote will got to Lt. Dan (that's where I think they're wrong) and they'd prefer a "male" idol this year.
Just rumors, but they make sense after what we saw tonight.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I said to my husband, "That guy totally waxes and greases up his chest." The thing that bothers me about Anwar is that he sings the same type of song every single week and the judges NEVER call him on it. Everyone else they always come out with, "You are playing it safe...blah blah blah", but they never tell him that.
I think Nadia is going home tonight. She has a great voice, but has been pretty forgettable.
And, please, Paula- get help! Oh lawd, she was higher then a kite last night. I mentioned to my husband that I was surprised that she didn't get out a lighter during Freebird. He said, "They probably don't let her near lighters or anything sharp." LOL!!
I also noticed that the only song she didn't dance around like a drunken prom date to was Carrie's number.
