Fantasia has totally gone over to the black urban music scene. That's apparently what her album is all about. Don't know first hand since I won't buy it. Also haven't heard her on the urban music radio stations here in L.A. But, again, I lurk over at the AI boards where the kids keep me well informed, LOL!

As I understand it, her CD would have totally bombed if some big-name black music industry types didn't boost her. She was awarded best new artist in the recent black music awards show. But then, so was Ruben after he won AI, and his career is in the toilet already.

How Rueben won I'll never know....you knew he would never be able to endure the rigors of touring...he could barely perform two songs on one show.

And Fantasia didn't even sing a new song tonight, like other returning singers have done. Instead she sang the same finale song from last year "You gotta believe" or whatever, complete with a back-up gospel choir. Wolfstar, I don't have the words to describe how awful it was. She didn't sing--she screamed! Repeatedly.

[Reuben's] career is in the toilet already

No kidding. Catch him and Kimberly Cauldwell (the blonde Kim from season 2) slumming on "Life On A Stick". Again, words fail me :(
