He was good as the shrink on the old Law & Order.
He thought everyone was spouting bull***t, which they were.
He left L&O and they brought some psychotic weakling in to play the shrink, wasn't nearly as good.
Of course, after Moriarty left, and then especially after the guy who played "Adam" left, the show wasn't worth watching anymore.

I made up my mind to pretty much h@te "House"...
medical shows...ylech, ugh, pitooey, spit spit...
but once I identified the young woman doctor as the ghostly
victim in Kevin Bacon's "Stir of Echoes" well,
I kinda got hooked.
This last episode was intriguing...the husband's
response to his wife's infidelity.
I'd like to think some folks might take pause
before "stepping out."

Amen! I loved L&O, had to watch every episode, but when Waterson and some of the others came on it became political. And Sam never loses a case!
