Hi, Jonny. Well, Carrie is on her way. As mentioned, above, her first-week sales numbers are a good news-bad news thing. Buzz on various forums is that she's likely to have the #1 single on Billboard Hot 100 tomorrow. However, it's not likely to have much staying power. Bo's version of the same song is out now, which will hurt both their sales, except for those folks who want to invest in buying both for comparison purposes.

However, word also is that a number of top country music writers have been in discussions to work with Carrie on her upcoming album. If she gets quality material and can put some heart and soul into it, she should do fine.

I don't understand that decision at all. It's a weak song, made even weaker by Bo because it's not suited to him. There were/are at least a half-dozen better songs that AI could've released as his single. Pinning "Inside Your Heaven" to both of them is colossal mistake.

Having now listened to both versions, neither are ones that should really have been on sale right now for singles. Far too hurried, relatively poorly mixed and overall both of these songs will hurt their future careers.

RCA did do a better job than Arista on putting it all together, but digital purchases of the RCA single is haywire on both Yahoo Music Engine and on Adelphia Music Pack - both list the single price as being over $8, vs Carrie's which is 79 cents on Yahoo and 1.29 on Adelphia.

If it wasn't $8, I would have bought Bo's single. As it is, I subscribed to both through my subscription service and will have to wander on down to my local music store and see if someone's dusted them recently.
