Bo's gonna be on The View, sandwiched between Star Jones and Joy Behar??? Be afraid, Bo. Be very afraid!

LOL! He'll probably show up in his usual torn jeans and loose shirt, and who knows what those women might try to do. Maybe try to re-dress him right there on live TeeVee.

BTW, Carrie's single did not open in the top 50 on Billboard's Hot 100 singles chart. I'll try to find and post her actual numbers later today. As a point of contrast, a single off Black Eyed Peas' new album, which came out the same day as Carrie's single, is in #2 behind Mariah Carey's single, which stays at #1 this week.

CARRIE'S SINGLE UPDATE: Carrie's single did not make any of the top spots on any Billboard chart with this week's update. However, Billboard's "Chart Beat" column by Barry A Jeckell, June 16, 2005, had the following confusing item:

'INSIDE' STORY: Carrie Underwood collects her first No. 1 in Billboard, joining a long list of chart-topping "American Idol" competitors. Her "Inside Your Heaven" / "Independence Day" (Arista) makes a premature debut at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles Sales chart, based solely on street date violations. Those same infringements bring Underwood onto the Singles Sales chart at No. 5 (This chart was formerly known as Hot 100 Singles Sales, but since it also feeds the Pop 100, it was appropriate to change the name).

I don't know if I can translate this into English, but will give it a shot. I start by assuming he's referring to some sales charts that must only be available on the subscription site. I have no idea what the different is between them and the famous charts made that are made public and updated every week (which are the industry's bible). Anyway, apparently sales of Carries single that violated the actual release date pushed her to #1 on the Hot Country Singles Sales chart and #5 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales chart. (Whatever all that means.)

In any case, Carrie has not shown up on any of the public chart updates released today by Billboard. So maybe we'll see these so-called "premature" sales reflected in next week's chart updates.

The top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 Singles chart as of today's update are:
1, We Belong Together, Mariah Carey
2, Hollaback Girl, Gwen Stefani
3, Don't Phunk With My Heart, The Black Eyed Peas
4, Just A Lil Bit, 50 Cent
5, Oh, Ciara Featuring Ludacris
6, Behind These Hazel Eyes, Kelly Clarkson
7, Grind With Me, Pretty Ricky
8, Switch, Will Smith
9, Since U Been Gone, Kelly Clarkson
10, Speed Of Sound, Coldplay

(Kelly's "Breakaway" is in #36 on this chart, and is #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart for the 16th straight week. Her "Since You Been Gone" has been certified triple platinum.)

On the Billboard Pop 100 chart, the top 10 are:
1, Hollaback Girl, Gwen Stefani
2, Don't Phunk With My Heart, The Black Eyed Peas
3, We Belong Together, Mariah Carey
4, Behind These Hazel Eyes, Kelly Clarkson
5, Switch, Will Smith
6, Oh, Ciara Featuring Ludacris
7, Just A Lil Bit, 50 Cent
8, Since U Been Gone, Kelly Clarkson
9, Don't Cha, The Pussycat Dolls Featuring Busta Rhymes
10, Incomplete, Backstreet Boys

On the Hot Country Singles chart, the top 10 are:
1, Making Memories Of Us, Keith Urban
2, Fast Cars And Freedom, Rascal Flatts
3, Lot Of Leavin' Left To Do, Dierks Bentley
4, You'll Be There, George Strait
5, Something More, Sugarland
6, As Good As I Once Was, Toby Keith
7, Keg In The Closet, Kenny Chesney
8, Mississippi Girl, Faith Hill
9, If Something Should Happen, Darryl Worley
10, That's What I Love About Sunday, Craig Morgan
