rock is making a big comeback Bo is coming into the industry at a good time for him.
Youre right. Just flipping through the radio, Ive noticed that several stationsstations that have been devoted to one type of music for decades, usually Country or Easy Listeningare switching to Classic/Current Rock or 80s Pop. Theres also been a sudden nostalgia for 80s rock bands like Motley Crüe, White Snake, Guns N Roses, etc. Just last week, Def Leppard performed live on the Today Show before an appreciative audience. I havent seen those guys in yearsthey sounded great!
And as much as I detest the man, I have to admit that Bruce Springsteens newest single Devils & Dust is one of his best songs. Its being played ad nauseum on the rock stations, but I never get tired of hearing it.
Even the Rolling Stones, God bless em, are going back on tour!
The public is obviously hungry for Rock again. This combined with his success and exposure on AI might just provide Bo with the perfect storm he needs to begin a lasting career.
Now if only Van Halen would get their act together
:-D
Hi, Jonny. The rock sound is even big in country these days.
All those old rockers reminded me of seeing Ozzie Osborne on the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonight.
I LOVE that show, BTW.
Anyway, Ozzie was sober, steady and very personable. I had no idea he was so charming.
Granted he does have a foul mouth, but he was very funny.
