Canadaian conservative party convention 2005

TOPICS:
KEYWORDS: 2005; canada; conservativeparty; convention; montreal; tories
I am trying to decide if I should attend the convention of the conservative party next weekend in Montreal. I am mainly interested in 2 things: 1) Stopping gay marriages 2) Decreasing anti Americanism. Since attendance is $600.00 I would like to discuss if the conservative view has a chance of prevailing at the convention. I really don't want to give any money if the more moderate current will take center stage at the convention.

Is there any site I could go to?

They're holding it in Montreal? That's surprising. I've heard (I may be wrong) that's a very liberal place and the site of a major homosexual community. Why would they hold it there?

You might as well go. They need as much support as they can get.

It's a sister site of Free Republic.

Us Canadian Conservatives discuss all kinds of stuff there. The globe and the post did stories on us this week.

Go to www.freedominion.ca

I post as Phi there.
