Hi Ramius. I was wondering if you saw the article posted on FR, day before yesterday, which described the recent attempted piracy of 2 sailing yachts, one of which was named Gandalf, off the coast of Yemen. A hellacious sea story. Gandalf apparently also survived the Indian Ocean tsunami. They are having an adventure for sure.

I *did* see that story. It got me to search around for a little more info on the two boats. It was the real deal, and a really compelling story.

Those guys were *really* lucky that the maneuvering happened to work out that the one boat was able to ram the pirate boat... seems like that really made the difference. Otherwise it would have ended very different, I think.
