I imagine we'll go with the standard kit. It's looks awful to me, but Steve says it's not too bad. One push rod tubewas just demolished but the other seven were in good shape. We got one of the heads off. He's worked on it solid for two days but he just left to take the boys to church for choir.

I took EVERYTHING out of the bug, except the headliner, the dash, and the steering wheel and just vacuumed the beejeebies out of it with a very strong shop vac Steve brought home from work.. Sucked a bunch of my pans up. I mean, up. As in gone. Ha ha! "Hey! I can see the shop floor!"

Buncha spiders. Yikes! I knew there would be and I intend to bomb it this evening. You know sitting out in the field it had to get some black widows in it.

Took the muffler off and found it was FULL of fluff! Apparently there was a mouse living in there! I found out it was getting the fluff from the headliner. I'm taking it out soon.

Now I've gone and told you almost all my blog info...oh well, you can go look at the pictures when I get them uploaded.

I'm gonna get some Kung Pao Chicken right now. I can't stand that smell any longer.
