Waiting for the sunroom is a good idea. We'll have some iris if you want some of them, same with daylilies.

Kewl! I'm thinking about doing a shade garden thing beside the gate with at least some hostas and maybe I'll plant some impatiens or something and I was thinking about doing ferns on the garage end of the house. I guess I'll do some bedding plants in the planter boxes and something for between the planter box and the front walk - ajuga comes to mind but I'll need something else that's low growing to make it interesting.

BTW - no progress on the sunroom yet. Last I heard from them, they wanted to know if I had a survey of the property. I expect they're doing the bureacratic paperwork crap.

LSA says there is some hostas available as well. They need to be thinned a bit.

Kewl! Hopefully there won't be any deer in the neighborhood to eat them all.

Probably won't have worry bout deer, but be sure to lay in a stock of Cory's Slug and Snail Death. The hostas sure do attract them for some reason.

I've got some slug bait.

Maybe I should put the rhubarb in the planter box.

Times have sure changed, I shot on the Knights of Columbus rifle team in high school, in a basement range, .22 rifle. Ear protection? What's that.

.22 rifle, even indoors, isn't too bad without ear protection. .22 handgun still makes my ears ring, so I wear ear muffs or plugs. By far the worst was the .22 Remington Jet, which was a .357 necked down to .22. No recoil, since the bullets were so light, but the noise and muzzle blast was horrendous. That's what got me kicked off the indoor range at the armory. Far worse than the .45ACP the range was intended for.

The dents the rounds were making in the backstop did not win me any friends, either.

NCState just beat UConn. My bracket just keeps getting worse and worse. As long as AZ keeps winning, I'll be happy, though.

They've got S. Illinois and Oklahoma State on here.

I'm listening to Yahoo Sports, watching the game on the portable, and have the race on the "big TV."
