I always do better with hot peppers than with sweet.
Or both!
Though...I dunno how well bell peppers would work in a pot, just because they're so big.
My cherry tomatoes did really well, too...but I don't know if you like those or not. They smell so good, even if you don't like raw tomatoes! And they're purty.
I wish the ground wasn't frozen solid! I'd love to bring a few of each of my herbs. I'm going to miss my little herb garden. *snif* But those are something we could almost certainly do on a balcony. Just won't be the descendents of my own, that's all!
OK, headin' out for awhile. Some friends invited the lot of us over for turkey dinner...one of their own turkeys. I didn't know him personally, though...
I don't like tomatoes at all, but feel free to pot your own! They certainly add color.
Herbs would be lovely. I wonder when it's late enough to start those? Hmm...
I started some basil and thyme today. 'Course I won't put them outside until later.
Mmm, thyme... wouldn't it be nice to grow time in a pot? Dry it and have it on hand when necessary?
Or just have living time...then it can reproduce itself and you'll have more time.
Yeah, that'd work too...
'Course you could end up with time growing wild. You'd have more time than you'd know what to do with.
I don't think I'd have a problem with that, actually. Imagine - time enough to sleep in three days a week, work overtime, and still read!
Could you sell it and still keep the plant?
I'm sure there's a huge market for spare time out there.
They'd just waste it or kill it or something.
Yes, but I'd have their money... hmm... then again, they say time is money, so maybe I wouldn't need to sell it at all. Just spend it.
Wonder what the short-term interest rate on a sprig of time is.
Wild mountain time... all around the bloomin' heather. Will you go, lassie? Will you go?
One of my fav songs
Just think. You could keep time in a bottle.
Mmm, bottled time. Or ferment it and get time-wine.

Got an email from the chaplain's wife! A bit of news!
Yes, he will be able to jump & run again. I've been calling him the "Bionic Man". He will be put on 30 days of convalescent leave. He won't jump again before we PCS to Mannheim, Germany - 1 July. He's just glad that he was able to get his star above his jump wings before we go to Germany, where they don't jump. He still wants to come back to Fort Bragg to be with paratroopers & jump out of perfectly good airplanes with them. Please keep him in your prayers! "Mrs. RC" Unfortunately, the consequences of jumping out of a perfectly good airplane are that sometimes you get injured. Wednesday night "RC" had a bad landing. He broke his ankle in two places. The fracture in the fibula had to be pieced back together with a plate & 5 screws. The surgery was successful. Fort Bragg has some of the best podiatry surgeons in the United States. He will be in the hospital for the rest of the weekend. He is in a lot of pain, but they are doing a great job of controlling it.
Looks like he's hooked up to a drain...see that device with the springs?
