I do not enjoy paying $10 for a move with COMMERCIALS before the movie (not previews, but friggin COKE commercials, etc) and trying to tolerate all the rude people who talk to each other, talk on a cell phone or kick the seats in the theater. Just gimme the DVD and my own TV and home system

I usually buy used DVD's - less expensive, plus the stars have already gotten whatever share they're getting, and I'm not giving them another cut.
