You have XM radio, so you are in a position to know....Is it like cable TV -- 200 channels, and nothing to listen to?

No, NOT AT ALL!!! There is so much awesome music programming and not enough time!

I have 2 television sets... both are for watching DVD's... but I have over 2000 vinyl records, and not enough hours in the day to listen to music.

Does that put it into perspective for ya??

ahhahahaha!

That depends on what you want to listen to. I like classic rock. XM has a classic rock that doesn't even have a DJ, just one great song after another without any commericials. They also have a series of stations they call Decades; channel 4 is music from the '40s, channel 5 is from the 50s, etc., all the way through the 90's. XM also has Fox news and an Old Time Radio channel that plays nothing but radio programs from the 30's-50's. I was really surprised at how much I like listening to that channel. Burns and Allen are hilarious and the old sci fi programs are a real laugh. Bottom line, after 2 years of XM I can't stand listening to a commerical radio station any more.

I suspect that Sirius is pretty much the same.
