I was surprised to hear that it gets into the 30's. I saw the news story of the 7 month old baby spending about 12(?) hours in a car with his deceased 20 yr. old mother. For some reason I did not think it got that cold in the south.

So where is all the mud you talk about?

Mud is where you find it. It is not usual to get temps in the teens as far south as Orlando Florida. The difference in the south and north is the cold doesn't get as cold and doesn't stay long. It was 30 yesterday morning and got up to 42. It is going to 60 today. Mid 60's tomorrow. All of this variation is caused by cloud cover and wind direction. It has been cloudy all weekwith wind out of the NW. Today the wind is out of the south. It's hard to adjust but it isn't boring.
