I worry about stuff like this, because I fear expensive problems might inspire them to just sell the place rather than do a lot of repairs.
I know...I would too. It's kinda like "Out of sight, out of mind" most the time and they just cash the rent checks. Then this makes them remember they gotta take care of it sometime and is it worth it to them?
I know, because it happened to us...when Matthew was a baby, the landlord decided that instead of fixin' the house, he'd just sell it. It was a pain. We moved into a duplex and that's where we were living when Joshua was born. It was all right...just smaller than we were used to.
