I was always misplacing my chap-stick. Now I just have a stick in the pocket of every jacket and in my desk draw at work. That pretty much guarantees I am never far from some.

I've got just one image, but I forgot to put shooting muffs on. Assume I have earplugs. Safety first...

Meh...

I came home. Went by Wal-Mart, got some meds, went by the wine store, got some cheap Shiraz. Hopefully I'll be well enough by Thursday to take my midterm.

Stumbled onto this today, the perfect place for NW Hobbits to dig a hole.

Found it while searching for an aerial of my old stopming grounds.

Carmex sticks RULE.

I have them all over - it's realllllly dry here in the winter - including in every jacket pocket and on my desk and a few others to carry. However, I STILL usually forget mine and have to buy new ones, after which I find the one I lost originally.

I must have about twenty. *sigh*

Them islands are solid rock... it would take a dwarf to dig a home there ;~D

The limiting factor on those little San Juan islands, maybe like any small island, is fresh water availability. But a few people have figured out how to make a home on them ;~D

I just got off the phone with Walmart. Took me For EV er. All I wanted them to do was run back there and tell me how much a 40oz jar of Great Value Creamy Peanut Butter was. I swear, I was holding on the line for 20 minutes.

Anyways, it's $3.16.

I didn't think about it being all rock.

Now this is a rock: http://www.vladi-private-islands.de/sales_islands/sites/3b/redrock/3b_redrock.html

Hobbits don't do water. I don't know if they do islands either.

Besides, I plan on owning a tropical island.

"I swear, I was holding on the line for 20 minutes. "

Called in my lunch today from the interstate, 15 minutes from the sandwhich shop. They guy put me on hold for 10 minutes, then hung up on me. I called back, was put on hold before I could even answer. I finished ordering my sandwich from the parking lot of the shop.

I told the manager what happened and he gave me a freebie coupon.

Jen, I'd offer to hook you up with this one, but I think Mel Gibson bought it.

LOL! So now we know....

You know, that's not something it would ever occur to me to do.

Mmm...having sardines with lemon juice. I imagine in the future this is a treat I'll have to reserve for outside the house or days when Jen isn't home until late...

Why did I want to know what the price of the peanut butter was? Because Aldis has a comparable peanut butter (quality-wise) that is $1.19 for 18 ounces. I wanted to know if Walmart had a better deal, since I'm going to both places. But I'm going to Aldi's first due to the frozen food items I intend to buy. And I'm completely out of peanut butter...so if Aldis had the better deal, I was gonna go ahead and buy it there, since I'm going there first. But if Walmart had the better deal, I woulda waited and bought it from them. I didn't wanna check it out and find that Aldis was a better deal after I'd already gone and then would feel obligated to either buy it from Walmart or go back to Aldis...neither of which I would particularly want to do. So I called 'em and made them go look!

I figure Aldis is a better deal...am I right?

Um, yes, please... I've been so sensitive to smells lately, the least thing will trigger a headache. I have a feeling sardines would do the trick.

I'm gonna go to Aldis see, and buy most of my groceries, including a lot of frozen items and the peanut butter...and then come home, drop that stuff off, then head out to Walmart to pick up the rest of my needs that Aldi's doesn't carry...like Splenda and my low carb tortillas.

I could go to Walmart first, I suppose...now that I know about the peanut butter. I guess I coulda just gone to Walmart and checked it out first...I know the price of everything at Aldis.

Didn't occur to me.
