Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Tomorrow we may come this way...
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

That'd be nice, wouldn't it?
But that's a no go.

I could probably do an ad in the paper.
I just worry about who would call on such things! Is that silly? Probably.

Heh... well, not to make you more freaked, but we did get that one weird call about the dog ;~D
Do the petfinder thing perhaps... post pictures of them at work.... Or don't give your family a choice ;~D

I seem to remember hearing about a concert in Mobile AL back in 1974 with a band, The Doobie Brothers", and the tickets were $ .50!! You reckon they were BRANDY NEW? ;o) They couldn't have been that new in '74. Our prom theme in '75 was "Old Fashion Love Song."

I think I'm gonna borrow a digital camera from work and take some pictures and put 'em up on petfinder. The internet worked for the dogs, after all! And that way I could reach out beyond the local area.
I'll probably also call the guy who hooked me up with Cleo. He's done some Siamese rescue in the past and may know of people who'd be happy to have them.

Ok, here's a situation...
Say you had a friend...no, say you DREAMED you had a friend who had an aquaintence, actually her husband, that had occasion to get stuff given to him from a crime scene storage place and he managed to get a pyrex baking dish and a 1000ml pyrex beaker from this place...would washing with ivory liquid, then spraying with clorox, then washing in the dishwasher make you feel like the pyrex was safe?
Also, said dreamed-up friend's hubby got a flash light. And 3 bottles of pyroxide which your friend intends to donate to her church. But that doesn't have anything to do with this situation.

Heh. Do you remember that time he found that couch on the side of the road and brought it home to me? Long long time ago? I remember talking about it in probably the first Hole.
I was furious. I wouldn't even let him take it out of the back of the truck, remember?
I believe if I can clorox somthing, it's safe. You just can't clorox an entire couch.
